VOYAGER AUDIO LOG
Audio recordings of various planets' atmospheres and ambience, made by NASA's Voyager spacecraft. Magnetic pulse wave activity was documented by the craft and transmitted back to Earth. This data was eventually converted into audio signals, using technology only recently developed within the fields of digital audio and computing.
By May 2007 the log was mastered for public listening purposes. Recordings range from the serene fragility of the Ice Fields, to the chaos of a 900mph Cyclone.
